This is a recording from the audience which is very good. It feels like you are sitting in the audience. The show is also very good! Elvis had some very good periods in 1975.
Elvis starts this show with a very energetic 'See See Rider' followed by a good 'I Got A Woman' and then 'Big Boss Man'. After 'Big Boss Man' he has a nice conversation with the audience and you can hear he is in a good mood and likes to perform that evening.
Follows does 'Love Me', a routine song but with a powerfull ending. Elvis has a lot of fun with 'If You Love Me'. The high notes were no problem this day. 'Love Me Tender' is a very nice perfomance also. 'All Shook Up' is sang very quickly, followed by a medley of 'Teddy Bear' and 'Don't be Cruel'.
Elvis gives everthing he has at end of 'Hound Dog'. After this song comes one of the best performances of 'The Wonder Of You' ever sang in 1975. Sit down and relax! Then comes - in my opinion - one of the best performances of 'Trying To Get To You'. The next song 'Burning Love' is share dynamit!
After introducing the band members Elvis sings a good 'T-R-O-U-B-L-E' and an even better 'Heartbreak Hotel'. Then a relaxed version of 'Killing Me Softly' sang by Voice, before Elvis continues with 'Let Me Be There' performed at a high pace by Elvis this time.
'Bosom of Abraham' and 'You Better Run' are not standard in the shows of Elvis and makes this CD a must to have. After this you have to listen very good to the lyrics of 'You Gave Me A Mountain'. Elvis changed the lyrics and makes jokes while singing this song. Elvis explains that the song 'Little Darlin'' is an easy song and that the words means nothing. This is followed by a good performance of 'Mystery Tran/Tiger Man'. 'Funny How Time Slips Away' is great. A song where JD Summer repeats the last part. 'Can't Help Falling In Love' finish the show.
This CD feature a great show. I will suggest that you buy this CD. Maybe the evening show is better because Elvis sings 'You Never Walk Alone (in my opionion the first time and the last time live on stage), but I think you have to buy both the afternoon and the evening show.
