This is not the same as Having Fun With Elvis On Stage that was released in 1974 (1994 on bootleg), or Having Fun....Vol. 2, but is a new production. |
Hmm... It had to come.... Some months ago volume 2 was released, and now...volume 3!
The original release made very little sense back in 1974. In fact Elvis was very angry about 'Having Fun With Elvis On Stage'. Enterprising souls, however, saw the potential income... and only that?
Also, now it is no longer a matter of "having fun" with Elvis, but rather "hear Elvis talk on stage". When Elvis raves about rumours and drug-abuse in Las Vegas, sept. 2 1974 it could hardly be described as 'Having Fun With Elvis On Stage'. Lost sight, anyone? |
