WRITING FOR THE KING
The 3rd book project by FTD quite surprisingly features live tracks from 1969 to 1972. All of it is previously unreleased. The sound quality (mix) goes from good to fair to weird (extremely poor mix on 'Words').
CD-2 sports 26 demos sung by different performers, some by the author of the song.
The book then? Well, some 400 pages of interviews (more than 140!) and behind the scenes stories. The price is stiff!

HIS HAND IN MINE
Included are all takes of 'Surrender' and also 'Crying In The Chapel', though not released on the album itself. This release covers almost the whole session from October 1960! (Take 9 of 'He Knows Just What I Need' is missing)
The sound quality is pristine!
