Talking album, taken from different already released soundboard bootlegs, and audience recordings.
This is not the same as Having Fun With Elvis On Stage that was released in 1974 (1994 on bootleg), or Having Fun....Vol. 2 or even Having Fun....Vol. 3, but is a new production.
This release is the first to bring something new (except for vol. 1 of course). 33 seconds - said to be from Memphis, March 20 1974 - where Elvis introduces about everyone he knew at the time...:-). The source is a rather dull soundboard.
These CDs are like a competion in "cut and paste". Cut from where-ever there are some talking, and paste randomly. You will hear Elvis in perfect soundboard quality one second, and then in fair audience quality the next. There is no red-line to outweight this policy!
Production-wise this is noticebly poorer than the rest of the volumes! |
