This is the first concert to be released from the September 1970 tour. Unfortunately, the sound quality is below par for an audience recording. However, the songs are performed well and with great energy, and the audience is wild. That has got to account for something.
The recent offering from Memory Records is essential in that it covers Elvis's first tour. It’s a fantastic show in poor sound, and I'm glad to have it in my collection, but I won't play it often. It's probably the worst sounding audience recording from Memory Records thus far.
If you're not a completist, stay away from this one. You're better off with On the Road Again or any of the August 1970 Vegas recordings.
