SPRINGTIME TOURS '76 - '77 (Audionics 2010-01-02) (Released 2010)

Cover
Cover
A double CD release, featuring two March 1976 shows from soundboard and additional live tracks from the 8-track recordings by Felton Jarvis done in March, April and early May 1977. Some of these have not yet been official released, but are included here!

CD-1 contains what is available on soundboard tape from Johnson City. Originally a very good binaural sounding tape, Audionics has mixed it down to give a more full stereo sound.

As bonus tracks we get 'My Way' from Chicago, May 2 1977, 'Love Me Tender' from Norman, March 26 1977, 'That's Alright, Mama' and 'My Way' from Abilene, March 27 1977 - all previously unreleased offical recordings - together with other cuts from the same source, already released officially, mainly on Spring Tours 77 by FTD.

CD-2 focus on Elvis in Charlotte on the evening of March 20 1976. First released on Running For President, this time the show is presented in true binuaral sound. Again the CD ends with bonus tracks from 1977, taken from the official 8-track recordings. An incomplete recording of 'Can't Help Falling In Love' from Saginaw, May 3 and 'My Way' from Toledo, April 23 1977 are the only new to Elvis fans.

Two cuts from Johnson City, March 17 1976 are also featured in true binaural sound, as the main concert on CD-1 are mixed down.

Presented in double digipack with a 16-page booklet.
