Only audience recordings have been issued so far to document Elvis’s legendary July tour of 1975, and this is not one of the best as far as sound quality goes. The band is a wall of sound, but Elvis is fairly audible, except when he talks. The sound was a bit clearer during his last visit there (Conquering the Falls).
The first half of the concert, including band introductions, is standard fare, whereas the second half is packed with highlights, such as a rocking "T-R-O-U-B-L-E", a thundering "How Great Thou Art", and a killer "Mystery Train / Tiger Man" medley.
Although not a bad CD, you are apt to get more value for money if you go for one of the Uniondale shows or the Gyrating Asheville concert.
