Sound quality is much better here than on Better Than Ever. Elvis opens with an energetic 'See See Rider'. He is in great mood, sings well, and cracks jokes. In other words, the typical 1975 routine. The audience reaction is fantastic and may be worth the price of the CD alone. Elvis is on fire from start to finish, and the band rocks.
There are many highlights from this particular concert. 'Help Me', 'My Boy' and 'T-R-O-U-B-L-E' are all great. I could have mentioned most of the songs on this CD, the bonus tracks included; 'How Great Thou Art' is outstanding, and 'Steamroller Blues' is so much better than the version from the day before, released on FTD's Southern Nights.
You cannot go wrong with this fenomenal 1975 concert.
